Two piece urn, with body (part a) and lid (part b), both with a dragon head called ryūtō (龍頭) as well as floral motifs on the sides. Beige ground, with mottled turquoise, brown and green glazes. On the front side are holes associated with an empty space for affixing an epitaph panel (migachi).

Blue glazed ceramic lid from a funerary urn. The large rectangular lid is in shape of a palace roof. The upper ridge has a pair of three-dimensional creatures called shachihoko (鯱鉾/鯱), a mythical sea creature with the head of a tiger or dragon and the body of a fish, protruding upward at each end. Between them on the front is a dragon head. The epitaph, called migachi or miigachi (ミガチ/ミーガチ/銘書) in Okinawan, is written along the bottom of the lid.

On both sides are the heads of shishi (獅子), a mythical guardian lion, protruding outward. Glaze colours are predominantly turquoise and brown. The epitaph called migachi or miigachi (ミガチ/ミーガチ/銘書) in Okinawan is on the bottom of the urn lid.

Two piece urn, with body (part a) and lid (part b). Made in a style called goten-gata zushigame (御殿型厨子甕), an urn in the form of a palace. On the front are two Buddhist figures, each in the centre of a lotus, in relief, in turquoise on a dark brown ground. On the top of the lid, are two three-dimensional shachihoko (鯱鉾/鯱), a mythical sea creature with the head of a tiger or dragon and the body of a fish. On the front is an epitaph, called migachi or miigachi (ミガチ/ミーガチ/銘書) in Okinawan. There is another migachi under the lid.

Top portion of hood is batik dyed creating a floral design in light blue on black ground. Lower portion is woven design, white on navy ground. Reverse side is light blue flecks on navy background. Black tie at back of hood.

Part a: Folded shin guard that tapers slightly at one side, is rounded at the top, and five brass fasteners on each side. Part b: Shin guard that has been folded out. Has scalloped edge at the bottom and a rounded edge at the top. Has five brass fasteners on each side. Both are plain black with ties.

Checkered design in turquoise, black and maroon. Ties are maroon. Two short splits at front.

Dark blue kimono with tapered sleeves and a white pattern. The pattern is a diamond design with white dots on a dark blue ground. The pattern is hand stitched. Around the neck and part way down centre opening is a wide dark blue band. There are short ties on the band. The inside is unlined.

E-sugoroku game. Rectangular sheet of paper covered with a woodblock printed scene that shows firemen, known as hikeshi (火消し), on ladders in acrobatic positions on the upper portion, with a crowd of men gathered together observing them in the lower portion. Predominant colours are blue, green, black and brown on an off-white background.
