Print depicting a group of traveling men. One man is riding on a donkey(?) and another is being carried in a covered platform with a tent. There are abstract images of trees, houses, and people in the background. Print of Mishima Station (#11). This is one of a series of reproductions of the "53 Post Stations on the Tokaido Hwy." from Nihonbashi to Kyoto (Hoei-do edition). Print is matted on a piece of white-yellow paper and has an additional cover page that folds over the print. A printed inscription on the cover page reads: "MISHIMA Fog covered this posting station one hundred years ago at early dawn. The serene skill which mastered the problems of the printing-block is perfect." There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.

This is one of a series of reproductions of the "53 Post Stations on the Tokaido Hwy," from Nihonbashi to Kyoto (Hoei-do edition). Print is matted on a piece of white-yellow paper and has an additional cover page that folds over the print. A printed inscription on the cover page reads: "ODAWARA An unspectacular print. However, this is the first picture in the Tokaido series of a Rendai-watashi (a hand-barrow ferry). The mountain in the background may be the Hakones." There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.

A printed inscription on the cover page reads: "OISO The sea, viewed from the hills, is glittering white. Though it rains aslant from a dark yellow sky, the rains look warm, as is natural at Oiso where the weather is mild." There are Japanese characters on the top, side, and bottom of the printed message.

Fan-shaped wood plaque with a calendar of 1936 hidden under a lantern. Also included on the plaque, is a rear view of a standing female dressed in a kimono looking at the cherry blossoms in front of her. Her black hair is tied up in a bun with metal hair adornments, foil-like paper hair adornments, and a bow. The kimono is a floral pattern with white flowers having yellow centres on a light blue background with another part of her kimono having five-petalled gold flowers on a red background.

A printed inscription on the cover page reads: “ KYOTO As the Nihon-bashi in Yedo is the starting-point, so the Sanjo O-hashi in Kyoto is the final goal. The travellers [sic] in Hiroshige's days left the Nihon-bashi in the morning and arrived at Kyoto where the Mikado lived approximately fifteen days later." There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.

A printed inscription on the cover page reads: “ KAMEYAMA A station on the Ise-sangu Line (the line for the Ise Shrine). The remains of the Kameyama Castle are approximately half a mile to the north-perhaps the scene of this print." There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.

Harpoon HeadN2.308

Detachable metal harpoon head that has a hollow shank. The point has two barbs, one on either sides, pointing outward and downward. The stem flares outward and downward with a flaring triangular protrusion at the bottom on one side.
