Collapsible fan consisting of folded silver paper that has four columns of Japanese characters painted in black, and which is supported by three black lacquered bamboo ribs and two outer, wide lacquered ribs. The reverse side of the paper is gold.

Cylindrical vase with raised neck decorated with two panels. One panel: Two robed male figures, one seated and one standing, mountains and branches in background. Other panel: Two robed male figures, both standing facing each other; ornately decorated building in background on left; mountains and branches in background on right. Panels are divided by two smaller sections of orange flowers against a white background. All other space, including neck and bottom, are intricately decorated with floral and geometric shapes in blue, orange, green, red, white and gold.

Long, rectangular textile; damask fabric with a cream background; red and orange band of rickshaws in-between a row of cream flowers surrounded by a red lozenge border. The design repeats itself. There is a thin, light blue ribbon that runs horizontally through a middle section of the textile along with a cardboard tag that has calligraphy on it and blue tassels attached; the top has a blue calligraphy stamp on it.

Doll is ceremonially attired in complete costume, including sandals, a red with silver and gold kimono, pink floral kimono, red and white patterned kimono, a yellow sash, a black patterned wide waist sash, red cord around the torso, silver collar. Black synthetic hair tied with silver and red paper, purple fabric flowers in hair. Wears round black with gold hat tied under chin with red fringed cord. Holds paper violet flowers in left hand. Body is white, stands on a painted black, wooden base.

Child's wooden chest with eight drawers of varying size. The front of the drawers are decorated with different objects and figures including a bird, cat, horn, toy horse, parasol, fish, rabbit, bell, and lantern, each done in ivory, abalone, wood or other material. Each drawer has a small handle that folds in to lie flat against the surface. The chest is raised on four 1.2 cm legs and has a 2 cm handle on top made of darker wood. Note: part j (foot) is in bottom left-hand drawer.

Rectangular loosely woven textile with fringe at both ends. Mainly off-white with two sets of stripes running the whole width of pale orange, yellow and light brown. Areas of scenery and calligraphy are done in dark blue, red and dark green.
