Miniature painting of Krishna Gopala on silk. The body of the painting is framed by a wide painted border of pink and light blue lotus flowers, with fern-like leaves in between. Within, another thin border of red with gold details. At centre, Krishna Gopala stands surrounded by a herd of cows. A peacock stands in the foreground next to a body of water filled with lotus. Many of the cows and Krishna are adorned with peacock feathers.

Standing figure of Vishnu. Has a conical headpiece embellished with elaborate geometrical incising. Eyes and eyebrows are slanted, nose is pointed, and lips are pursed. Elaborate detailed necklaces around chest area. Geometric incising from the waist down to feet. Arched border around perimeter of figure. Right side is slightly deteriorated. One hand raised, palm facing forward, one hand resting to the side. Wooden plank supports back and figure rests on rectangular base.

Has a split bamboo stick up the centre tied in three places. One moveable arm is jointed, and tied with thread at the shoulder, and elbow, the hand to which has a second bamboo stick attached. Dyed black, red, and green.

Lower extremity tapers into single rounded stem. Hole is punched out of buttock that is edged with red dye. Flowers are patterned on arms, torso, and neck.
