The sides are brown bands with white leaf-like shapes around centre line of dashes. Centre floral motif is slightly scalloped edged round bloom with dark brown centre, white ray-like lines and double curved shapes around outside. Part of bloom is repeating in the 6 corners. All on a light white/brown ground. Sample at bottom right is white on dark blue design of 2 scalloped edged round blooms with different centres with white rays out from centre. There are leaves and curving, curling lines between.

Sample at bottom right has 4 connected 5 sides shapes with central blooms at centre left in an uneven line; part of another at bottom right. Other blooms and leaves in various colours run across sample. All on a light white/brown ground. Multi-petalled orange bloom at top with stems and leaves to left. At bottom is a large dark pink/red bloom and an orange and green bloom to right.

Sample at top left is white on blue lines with leave-like shapes on either side. 3 of these lines curve out from 3 three petalled flowers. The leaves diminish to the end furthest from the flowers. Sample at bottom right is of a large dark blue round bloom with a slightly scalloped edge, a round pink/orange centre with white ovals around outside and a white centre. There are short then long repeating white rays on blue, leaving a plain dark blue band around centre. The background is wide arabesque bands and leaves in blue/grey shading to dark blue.

Sample is white yellow with stencil-like, shimmering silver pattern of square motifs upper corners rounded, aligned on horizontal, arranged in diagonal rows towards right. Motif composition is dots which together form squares, each with animal shape in centre.

Sample is white yellow with stencil-like shimmering silver pattern of diamonds arranged in vertical rows, each row offset from last. Composition resembles openwork: diamonds' sides are equal, concave, composed of small streaks, each with floral motif in centre. Remaining space filled with dots which together form ellipses.

Detail of a large repeating pattern of stylized bird-like shapes in dark blue with a central black then red circle with 5 light white/brown oval petal-like shapes; red at wing edges, yellow band across centre of wings. Beak is triangular and the tail squared off. There are 6 intermittent light white/brown lines along wings ending near 6 light white/brown dots on red edges. Parts of other birds at edges. Ground is light white/brown fibrous paper. Mounting paper folds from left over part of sample.

Both types have many petals, one has solid white ovals with triangles between oval edges; the others have white oval outlines, not joined at the top with 2 curved lines lines inside each petal. The centres all have a ring of white ovals. Line outlines of leaves extend from each. Sample at bottom right is of large dark blue and blue/grey blooms and leaves on a light white/brown ground. The centre bloom has an orange centre from which the petals extend out and curve into centre; detailed in white curved and wavy lines. The background leaves and blooms have white curved, straight and wavy line details.

Most striking creases radiating out from medallion centres. White edges streak into blue. Concentric yellow lines within medallions made visible on blue spokes.

The interconnecting red swastikas are formed by the lines turning directions. Sample at bottom right is a regular overall pattern of 4 light white/brown petalled flowers, each petal is tri-scalloped with a notch to centre. The notches form a back cross with a white dot at centre. Each flower is surrounded by a 6 sided box in light white/brown interlocking with adjacent boxes. All on a black ground.
