The piece is hollow and was moulded, the centre seam is visible along all sides. Hole in top centre of head, with a black plastic plug.

White rectangular card, on textured paper, with a black etching on the right side; card in horizontal orientation, design is vertical. Design is of two figures riding a two-headed elephant. Group of six people, standing in a circle, in the foreground; incomplete grid in background. A large tree-like protrusion extends from the top centre of the elephant's back, with long branches on either side; baskets and containers hang in branches. Figures riding the elephant are armed; figure on left is holding a rifle, figure on right has a sword. People on the ground are bald, bare-chested and wearing wraps; centre figure has a sash and all the other figures are holding their raised arms. Artist signature and inscription in bottom right corner. Back is undecorated; light fold marks through middle.

Design is of nine people dancing on a street; buildings and tall pole-like shapes in the background. Buildings have slanted roofs, and linear and circular motifs across their walls. Poles have an assortment of geometric, circular and linear motifs; human-like faces throughout. Small faceless figures gathered in archways of buildings, looking at dancing group. The dancers are all barefoot, have styled hair, and are wearing necklaces; dancer in centre back is bald. Arm and wrist bands, and earrings are also worn throughout group. All figures have geometric and curvilinear motifs done across their bodies. Artist signature and inscription in bottom right corner. Back is undecorated; light fold marks through middle.

White rectangular card with a black lithograph print on the right side; card in horizontal orientation, design is vertical. Design is of a man being crowned, witnessed by four other males. Outer two figures have long cloths wrapped around them and are holding tall staffs; each staff has a platform at the top with scenes depicted on them. Staff on left has human figures riding a four-legged animal; staff on right has smaller figures surrounding a large woman. Two bands of rattle-like protrusions along length of left staff; inverted U-shape underneath platform on right staff, with carved birds facing one another inside the U. Other three figures are bare-chested, bald and wearing long patterned wraps. The figure closest to the left is holding a wide-bladed sword over their head, and the figure in the centre is crowning the man towards the right side of the card. The crowned figure is wearing multiple long strand necklaces, arm and wrist bands, and is holding a three-pronged torch-like object in his right hand. The crown the centre man is holding has large feathers(?) at the front and long chains on either side. In the foreground of the design, there are small human-like figures holding swords and shields. Artist signature and inscription in bottom right corner. Back is undecorated; light fold marks through middle.

Tall wooden carving depicting a priestess (part a) on a square base, with a removable headdress (part b). Woman is kneeling on an hourglass-shaped seat, with four additional legs. Seat has raised chevron, cube, scale, circular and linear decorations throughout. Two birds are attached to the back of the seat, facing forward. Overtop of the front leg is a blindfolded figure holding a bird in each hand. The priestess has a wide nose, protruding eyes, large ears and long neck. She is wearing earrings, bracelets, arm bands and necklaces. The woman’s hair has incised lines and triangles throughout, and is styled in a low ponytail. Overtop of her hair is a raised circle with a square protrusion, which fits into the base of the detachable headdress. She is wearing cross body bags on either shoulder and a skirt, with a front tie and geometric design. Tucked into the back of the skirt is a child. It is wearing a hat and has a bag(?) hanging from its shoulders. In her right hand the priestess is holding a curved container(?); in her left she has a bird, that she is eating the head of. Artist signature carved on bottom of figure’s square base. The separate headdress is dome-shaped and has a veil of interlocking rings around the bottom edge. Headdress is crowned with stack of three, small circles. Four bird figures on all sides, facing inward, have their beaks against the top circle. Rest of dome is covered in raised scale, cube and linear decorations. Base of headdress has a square cutout in the centre.
