Hull is panted black with areas near top decoratively left unpainted. Several benches span the interior of the vessel. Detailed wood rigging with intricate, twisted cordage attaches main boat to outrigger float. A woven triangular sail is suspended between two posts, with a third attached by cordage, and can be balanced upright above the main hull. A large plant fibre tassel hangs from the top point. Part b is a 'canoe lee platform' meant to hang off the opposite side from the outrigger. Parts c-d are very small removable benches that fit into spaces at the fore and aft of the main hull. Part e is a rudder; parts f-g are leaf-shaped blade model paddles; part h is a model steering paddle; part i is a smaller model paddle with a leaf-shaped blade (its wood matches that of the platform).
