A long rectangular cedar plank with faded Northwest Coast designs imprinted in the surface of the wood; only small portions of the designs are visible. Several longitudinal splits. Wood in the centre and towards one end is rotted with material missing. Many nail holes. Underside is covered in chisel marks and longitudinal gouges.

Rectangular incision near the top and bottom of the plank that has cedar bark stitching embedded in it. Rectangular indentation on the back near the bottom and top of the board.

A long rectangular cedar plank with deep red and black faded Northwest Coast designs imprinted in the surface of the wood. Bottom edge is slanted. Rectangular indentation on the back of the plank at either end. Two rectangular carved sections at the top and bottom of the piece inset with cedar bark. Two indented notches at the top and the bottom of the piece on the back.

A long rectangular cedar plank with faded Northwest Coast designs imprinted in the surface of the wood near the centre in a diagonal fashion. Orange coloured patch near centre of the wood at one side. Black coloured designs are more visible near centre and the bottom of the piece. Long indentation down the centre of the top of the board. Four prominent knots in wood, two near the top and two near the bottom. Small horizontal groove at the top of the board with cedar cording embedded in the middle. Two rectangular notches in wood at bottom of board. Top edge of board is cut on a slant. There are evenly spaced rectangular carved sections are located on the edge of the piece to one side. Across the top and bottom of the board there is a long rectangular cut.

Model Totem Pole1432/8

Brightly painted brown, black, white, yellow, red and green model totem pole. Pole depicts a small human figure standing in front of a bear with a large thunderbird perched on its head; the thunderbird's wings (cut from a separate piece of wood and nailed to the back) are outstretched. Entire figure is mounted on a red and green, square piece of wood.

Lamp1432/1 a-b

A wood lamp carved and painted with a metal light bulb holder (part a) and a lamp shade (part b). The lamp (part a) is black and has an animal with an open mouth at the bottom. The eyebrows are yellow, and the black oval eyes are outlined with green. The lips are red with white fangs and molars. The red nose is outlined with white. Above, in the front middle, there is a long vertical red piece. Above, at each side, there is a green upside down tear-drop-shape outlined with brown and having a white circle outlined with red in the middle. Back, at each side, there is a white feature with yellow, red, and green designs. The lamp shade (part b) is made of orange fabric outlined with a gold-coloured rim along the top and the bottom and has a metal frame which fits onto a light bulb.
