White plastic wedding bouquet holder. The holder consists of a plastic handle connected to a foam mount which is decorated with synthetic white ribbons, tulle and light green paper vines with white synthetic leaves. The vines and leaves extend from the holder and are wrapped in white tulle.

Off-white ring bearer’s pillow for wedding. The pillow is flat with decorative plastic pearls sewn along the top in two lines on either side of the attached drawstring bag for carrying the rings. There are two bows made from the same fabric as the pillow attached either side of the bag.

Pair of white leather, heeled shoes, for a wedding ensemble. The white, exterior leather has a slight shine. The interior of the shoe is lined with cream coloured satin stamped with a golden maker’s mark. Grey leather inserts sit at the back interior of the heel area. The sole of the shoes are brown leather. Heels are thin, with a dark brown plastic base, and toes narrow to angular points.

White formal gloves, elbow-length, that serve as parts of a wedding outfit. The gloves are stretchy suggesting that they are made from a synthetic fibre blend with spandex. Their top hems are woven with single, thick fibres to form a small section of gathering on the outsides of the arms when worn.

White wedding veil with floral headband. The veil consists of layers of synthetic tulle in two lengths, attached to the headband. The headband is covered in small paper and synthetic fibre flowers and stems. The flowers are decorated with pearlescent plastic sequins and small faux pearls.

Decorative bolero style wedding jacket. The jacket is ivory in colour with a large cream coloured bow across the front. The jacket has scalloped edges, a large, overlaying collar which tapers down to a u-shape in the back, and flared, elbow-length sleeves. The jacket fastens with four metal snaps and a metal hook. Its interior is lined with synthetic mesh while the exterior is made up of elaborate synthetic lace and floral designs decorated with plastic sequences, translucent and black plastic beads and groupings of plastic pearls at the centre of each lace and sequin flower.

Dress3048/25 a-c

Wedding dress with set of detachable trains. The wedding dress (part a) has an undecorated ivory bottom that tapers outwards in the back. The Maria Clara style bodice is covered in floral synthetic lace. These lace flowers are decorated with plastic sequins attached by translucent and black beads and plastic pearls at the centre of each flower. The bodice is lined with cotton fibre while the skirt is unlined and made from synthetic fabric. The bodice closes with a long metal zipper and a single metal hook at the upper hem. The bodice has two long loops for hanging as well as a fabric tag with the phrase ‘Arturo V. Cruz’ sewn onto it with black fibre. The two pieces of the detachable train (parts b and c) have sets of five metal hooks which lock into the fabric loops sewn onto the back of the bodice on either side of the zipper. The trains are slightly pleated at the point of attachment but are otherwise unadorned.

Textile3048/24

Large white rectangular textile with two large sections of embroidery on one half. The embroidery consists of a white mesh background with grey, white and black designs and an abstract black line and dot patterns embroidered atop the mesh. Surrounding the mesh is a thick grey, undulating line. Outside of the line are decorative black spoke designs. This pattern of embroidery appears twice in mirror image. Near the centre of the textile are three spoked designs embroidered at each edge.

Square embroidered textile of black tulle fabric. One corner holds a large section of floral decoration done in black cotton thread consisting of three groupings of flowers with stems and leaves. In the two adjoining corners of the textile are small, simpler embroidered floral decorations.
