Wooden box (caja para títeres), painted, to hold hand puppets. Box is cube-shaped, with a shallow hinged lid with handle aligned front to back. There is a small hook and eye latch to secure the box. Each side of the box is painted with a scene within a teal frame. The left side depicts a flying pole dance with four men suspended from a pole and "voladores" written below. The back side shows three men standing in a row in traditional outfits with "tocotines" written below. The right side shows four men swinging from a pole, and the front depicts two people standing side by side holding streamers(?). The lid is decorated with a scene of a flowering cactus, a church, and caged birds under the red sun. Each scene is bordered by a red dot at each cardinal point, and olive green filigree in each corner.

Red woodpecker with black wings is decorated with white circles, and two artificial flowers, one nailed to the lower back, and the other to the crown of the head. Operated by two strings (one missing) and a leather strap. Joint at the neck.

The left side has written, 'Tejon' and depicts a coati standing between some flowers and trees underneath the moon. The back depicts a blonde person by a house(?) with smoke from the chimney. The right side says 'maringuilla', and depicts four people dancing(?) in a row. The lid depicts two people standing side by side.

Hand puppet of Maria (Mary). Head, arms and legs are carved from wood and painted. The hands are disproportionately large. She has black eyes and eyebrows, and a small red mouth. Her hair is composed of feathers - deep vibrant blue and light blue. On her feet she wears black sandals. Her fabric outfit is green and painted. The fabric is nailed to the hands and head. A small strap extends down inside the head. Operated by inserting a hand inside the body of the puppet to control its head, arms and movements.

Large painted ceramic pot decorated with birds and floral motifs. The pot stands on three curved hand-moulded feet and has similar handles. The pot curves out from the base and has a thinner neck and an upturned lip at the mouth.

Huipil composed of four rectangular panels with seams down centre of both front and back, and both sides. Most of the garment features bright purple stripes and grey stripes, separated by thin stripes of black and white patterns. Underneath, a thick band of grey with thin purple lines separates the top from the bottom beige section. The neck and arm holes are lined by bright blue velvet. Extending down from each shoulder, front and back, are large embroidered flowers and leaves. The fabric is pleated once on each side, front and back.

Short button-up blouse made of a sheer off-white fabric. Six plastic(?) pearl-like buttons secure the front of the blouse. The hem, cuffs, sleeves, neckline are embroidered with small flowers in off-white floss, and cut-outs within every loop. The back of the blouse is embroidered with an ornate floral design, which extends down to the lower back, in off-white floss.
