Metal ear ornaments (parts a-b) consisting of three gold coloured Mexican coins of various dates (1961-1969) fastened together by metal links with a hook clasp backing. On the top of the coins is an eagle with a snake in its mouth, sitting on a branch and reads ‘Estados Unidos Mexicanos’. On the back of the coins is a woman’s profile on it and reads ‘Cinco Centavos’.
Instrument is made from a hollowed turtle shell. A deer horn striker is attached to the turtle with a rope.
