Backstrap Loom1217/1 a-d

A loom (parts a-d) with an incomplete textile (part a) consisting of an orange and blue strap with geometric shapes that ends with numerous long strands of twine. Part b: wooden bar, cylindrical in shape intertwine in the twine. Part c: wooden bar, cylindrical in shape intertwine in the twine. Part d: flat, thin wooden stick with rounded ends. There is a twisted, navy piece of twine attached to one of the sticks.

Mask2655/149

Oval-shaped light brown coloured human portrait mask. Head and facial hair is black in colour, with head hair that extends from the top of the head down to the cheeks. Eyebrows are painted on eyebrow ridge and a moustache starts underneath the nose, parts at the mouth and tapers into two separate points below the chin. The mouth is slightly opened and has red lips and a white coloured band indicative of white teeth.

A black mask. The face is painted with blue eyes and a red mouth, both of which are surrounded by white. The eyebrows and the mouth are cut out. There is a metal headdress perforated with holes in a symmetrically designed pattern over the forehead.

Dark-brown portrait mask with oversized hooked nose and long protruding chin. Cut-out eye slits, wide cut-out mouth with two teeth on upper mouth, exaggerated cheek bones and carved groove lines on either side of the mask's forehead. One small hole on either side of the mask parallel to the top of the nose.

Overall red portrait mask with bulging forehead. The forehead has carved grooves on its sides and at its centre. The face has carved black eyebrows with carved grooved eyelashes and cut-out slits on upper eyelids, slanted oval-shaped white coloured eyes with black coloured pupils, a long protruding nose with exaggerated cheek bones, a wide and thin cut-out mouth with three staggered white coloured teeth, two at the top and one at the bottom of the mouth, and a long pointed chin that slopes upwards.

Details of face are both in relief and incised into surface: brows are incised; eyes are incised; nose is in relief; mouth has lips in relief and teeth incised. A long red face with gold eyebrows and beard carved with slits to add texture to the "hair". The beard curves outwards into a pointed tip. There are two horizontally carved black painted furrows at his brow. The mask has black eyes with nine white teeth.
