Scalloped feather pattern covers most of body, curled lines appear below eyes and on head. Wings are striped, duck foot symbol is painted on tail. Eyes are double rings around a centre pupil with eyelashes only on the tip. Small two-tone conical ears protrude from head, as does striped, hooked beak, tips barely open.

Lower portion of body is covered with a feather design of interlocking U-shapes, upper area is heavily spotted, and the stubby wings and tail are striped with multiple thin lines on one side, spotted on the other. Beak loops down over large mouth opening with painted red rim and eyes bulge.

Gourd-shaped, gray clay owl has hand painted body details in brown and red over a thick creamy white slip. Body is completely covered with overlapping feather pattern and large red spots. Bulging pupils are set atop white within a large red circle outlined in brown. Beak hangs down front to touch bottom lip.

Large, egg-shaped white clay owl with four replica baby owls, two sitting on the left wing, one on the tail, and one the right wing. Bodies are slipped and burnished, with details hand painted in black and orange. Face area is thickly outlined, divided into to by the tiny loop beak and filled by the eyes with long lashes. Wings and tail have a small border of stripes at the edge, curly feathers extend down the back of the headand the rest of the body is covered tight-knit mesh feathers.
