BagC1487

The bag is woven with natural coloured fibres in a geometric open weave design. There are three rows of the design with a row of black stitching on the first and third rows. Two twisted string handles are tied to the top edge of the bag in loops. A heavy fringe borders the three other sides of the bag.

Two pairs of poi balls. The first pair (part a) is decorated with orange and red-purple vertical stripes on a natural light yellow-brown background with a tassel of like colours in between the attached string. The second pair (part b) is decorated with pink and green-blue vertical stripes on a natural light yellow-brown background with a tassel of like colours in between the attached string.

Bodice3569/1

Woven bodice with wide embroidered panel across upper section. At centre of panel is a column of four diamonds, filled with triangular patterns; differently patterned rows of chevrons extend from either side of central column. Column of concentric diamonds along left side of bodice; all patterns are done in red, white, and black. Two black fabric shoulder straps are stitched along top edge; bottom section of bodice consists of three plain pieces of black fabric. Upper section of bodice secures at the back with snap fasteners, leaving bottom section open and drapey.
