Pot2847/28

Small ceramic pot, orange in colour. The rim is slightly flared and the neck is short. The body is bulbous and constructed somewhat unevenly, with the mouth and neck not centred over the body. The bottom is rounded. The pot has been covered on the outside with a dark orange pigment, the original colour of the clay seen only on the inside of the neck.

Clay bowl with wide mouth and rounded bottom. The exterior neck is decorated with encircling lines in black with one strip painted with curving, outlined colour blocks in orange. The bottom is painted with a large outline of a diamond pattern in orange and brown.

Clay pot. The rim flares and narrows to an indented neck, sitting atop a bulbous and squat body with a rounded bottom. A pattern of painted criss-crossing bars decorates the shoulder, bordered on top and bottom by groups of encircling lines.

Bulbous, oval pot in the shape of a bird(?). Pot has a small mouth with a flaring rim and a straight neck. The neck is decorated with protruding eyes and what could be a beak, as well as rounded protrusions to the sides. Brown and orange pigment emphasizes the face and decorates the rear portion. The body is oval, with three small oval protrusions below the midway mark, and is painted with curving lines, dots and circles in brown and orange. The bottom of the pot is rounded.

Small ceramic pot, black in colour. Pot is bulbous, with a short straight neck and thick rim with several chips taken out of it. A figure protrudes from the body of the pot: a jaguar head with two small perforations for eyes and an open mouth, and to each side small curved arms with hands close to the chin. At the bottom are two small conical feet, directly below the arms.

Small ceramic pot, the exterior burnished a slightly shiny orange. The body is bulbous with a rounded bottom. The pot has no neck, with the shoulder curving into a large mouth. On the shoulder are four triangular protrusions, the larger two each pierced by a horizontal hole. The remnants of white pigment can be seen around each protrusion as well as on the shoulder of the pot. The interior is smooth and a light tan in colour.

Small ceramic pot, orange in colour. Body is cup shaped, with a wide mouth, thick rim, straight shoulder and rounded bottom. The body of the pot is decorated with three round protrusions, underneath which are three conical legs. Two of the legs have broken off and been reattached with adhesive. The pot has been pigmented inside and out, and a fine grey residue clings to the bottom and sides of the interior.

Stone pendant, oblong in shape with a narrow point widening toward a rounded top with several short, carved vertical lines above two deeply bored horizontal ones with a rectangle between. The surface of the dorsal side has been buffed to a high shine. On the back of the piece is a deeply carved vertical channel. A small hole pierces through the stone near the top.
