Patterns alternate between birds with prickley greens, and other representational shapes. Two ends have a wide hem, one side has a narrow hem.

Each strip has a pattern of stripes; broad black selvedge, white stripe, broad brown stripe and four narrow black stripes separated by three narrow white, then a broad brown, white and broad black before a white selvedge.

The shirt is square shaped with a round neck and short, attached sleeves. Extending down from the neck is a reinforced button area with two buttons. There is a pocket on each side, wrapping from the front to back. There are slits up each side, ending at the pockets. There is a thick black hem on the inside of the sleeves, neck and the bottom of the shirt.
