Wooden panel carved in mid-relief. Depicts a humanoid figure with arms raised, hands held in fists, and a exaggerated tongue hanging from their mouth. Short horns extend up from their head, and large wings spread out to each side. The legs are each snake-like, and each twist in a loop before ending at a reptilian foot.
Metal staff with a single bell at the top. Bell is pocket-shaped with wide flat side seams that are pierced with holes. Two metal rings are looped through different holes, one with two Federation of Nigeria Halfpennies from 1959 attached through their centre holes. A small phallic point extends from the staff's shaft below the bell.
Egungun headdress carved from a single piece of blackened wood. The base is dome-shaped with carved columns of small geometric shapes spaced by vertical lines. An arched crest extends from the top and is also carved with a continuation of the lower designs. The rim is decorated with a band of carved zigzags with a row of holes beneath.
Small sword. The curved blade is decorated with six cutout lines and an X design with a dot in each angle. Two rows of small hammered curved lines outline the edge of the blade and around each cutout. The handle depicts a seated female with hands on knees. She wears a tall pointed headdress with two smaller ear-like points extending out. She has small pointed breasts, a large protruding naval, wears a large necklace with triangular pendant, and has a band around her waist, which repeats down the handle three more times. Her cheeks are marked with lines representing scarification(?).
Mmwo helmet mask. Carved from a single piece of wood, this mask depicts a delicate female face with a large ornate coiffure. The face is coloured white with black dashed lines down the centre of the forehead and across brow ridge, outlining the eyes and mouth, vertical lines beneath each eye, and three large dots by each ear. The hair is shown divided into triangular sections with three rolls on each side of the large crest. The rolls on one side connect, while the other side is broken. The crest looks like a wheel and spokes with six sections of twisted hair connecting to a curved line. The rim of the mask has a series of holes around it.
Oware(?) or Mancala game board carved from a single piece of wood. One end is decorated with a carved human head turned in profile. The person is depicted with short hair, large eyes, a large triangular nose and three marks on either cheek. The board is rectangular with two straight rows of six rounded pits or "houses". The sides of the board are scalloped, tapering in to the base, echoing the shape of the pits within. Between the pits are lightly carved diamonds, or double V-shapes on either end. The base is flat.
Bini mask carved of wood. A woman's face with a small nose, small mouth, and large almond-shaped eyes with angled cutouts beneath. She wears a headdress with a small figure front and centre with a small tray directly behind them, and then another anthropomorphic figure extending up over the tray. The eyes, mouth and tray are coloured white with chalk. On either side of the central figure are carved decorations, and attached jar-like ornaments.
Oval ivory bangle bracelet with slightly rounded exterior. The upper edge tapers in while the bottom edge is flat. Decorated with rows of small holes inset with tiny metal studs spaced with bands of smooth ivory. The inside has a dark brown patina.
Dagger (part a) with a leather sheath (part b). Dagger with long steel(?) blade on one end and short triangular iron blade on the opposite end. The long blade is stamped with small crescent shapes fourteen times in two columns of seven near widest end of blade. Hilt made of wood covered with leather, band of reptile skin around centre of hilt. Sheath made of leather with reptile skin at opening and knotted at pointed end. A twisted cord of leather is attached to a small loop at the top of the sheath.
Long-handled ladle with a cup-shaped bowl. The handle has small hammered squares lining the edge, and crossing the centre five times leaving X-shapes. The end of the handle curls under creating a loop which a copper ring is threaded through. The side of the bowl has a lip for pouring.
