White rectangular card with a black lithograph print on the right side; card in horizontal orientation, design is vertical. Design is of nine people dancing on a street; buildings and tall pole-like shapes in the background. Buildings have slanted roofs, and linear and circular motifs across their walls. Poles have an assortment of geometric, circular and linear motifs; human-like faces throughout. Small faceless figures gathered in archways of buildings, looking at dancing group. The dancers are all barefoot, have styled hair, and are wearing necklaces; dancer in centre back is bald. Arm and wrist bands, and earrings are also worn throughout group. All figures have geometric and curvilinear motifs done across their bodies. Artist signature and inscription in bottom right corner. Back is undecorated; light fold marks through middle.

White rectangular card with a black lithograph print on the right side; card in horizontal orientation, design is vertical. Design is of a man being crowned, witnessed by four other males. Outer two figures have long cloths wrapped around them and are holding tall staffs; each staff has a platform at the top with scenes depicted on them. Staff on left has human figures riding a four-legged animal; staff on right has smaller figures surrounding a large woman. Two bands of rattle-like protrusions along length of left staff; inverted U-shape underneath platform on right staff, with carved birds facing one another inside the U. Other three figures are bare-chested, bald and wearing long patterned wraps. The figure closest to the left is holding a wide-bladed sword over their head, and the figure in the centre is crowning the man towards the right side of the card. The crowned figure is wearing multiple long strand necklaces, arm and wrist bands, and is holding a three-pronged torch-like object in his right hand. The crown the centre man is holding has large feathers(?) at the front and long chains on either side. In the foreground of the design, there are small human-like figures holding swords and shields. Artist signature and inscription in bottom right corner. Back is undecorated; light fold marks through middle.

White rectangular card with a black lithograph print on the right side; card in horizontal orientation, design is vertical. Design is of two large male and female figures overlooking a crowd of smaller people. In the foreground, there is an assortment of objects, including spears, clubs, baskets and jars. There are five pillar-like structures in background with patterned cloths draped between central pillars. Cloths have geometric patterns across them. The large male and female figures are wearing headdresses and long multi-strand necklaces; male also has rings wrapped around his neck. The woman is wearing a dress with concentric diamond patterns; man is wearing a shirt with swirls and a wrap with head-butting goats. Woman is holding a baby; man has his right arm wrapped around the back of the woman and is holding a wide-bladed sword in his left. Crowd consists of two groups facing one another; group on left is dressed in pants and shirts, group on right is wearing dresses and wraps. The leader of the left group is holding a large umbrella, while the right group leader bows his head and offers a wide-bladed sword to him. Artist signature and inscription in bottom right corner. Back is undecorated; light fold marks through middle.

Light grey rectangular card with a black lithograph engraving on the right side; card in horizontal orientation, design is vertical. Engraving is a rectangle with a butterfly-like central design. Butterfly is bordered with dots, flowers and the word "ASIRIBO" on either side. Wide band of dots borders bottom edge of engraving; three rectangles spaced throughout, with pairs of animals in them. Abstract designs trim top edge of band. Rest of rectangle is filled with an assortment of human figures, animals, and dot and plant motifs. Animals shown are a crocodile, elephant, snake, birds and large cats. Humans are depicted holding scales, climbing rungs, fishing, riding a snake-like creature, balancing on a board, and running from the crocodile. Artist signature and inscription in bottom right corner. Back is undecorated.

Light grey rectangular card with a black lithograph design on the right side; card is in horizontal orientation, design is vertical. Engraving is a rectangle and depicts an abstract underwater scene. Four tree-like trunks are spread throughout the image; trunk on left side splits in two, rest are straight. Wavy branch-like lines extend from all trunks; irregular shapes and curvilinear motifs done along lengths of trunks. In between the trunks on the left side, a bearded figure is swimming downward. His wide hands are touching bottom of image; right hand is in bottom left corner and left in bottom right. His legs point upward, feet extend past top edge of design. He is wearing shorts and his body is covered in bands with geometric patterns; similar designs across cheeks. On right side of design, there is a large inverted triangle with three human-like heads extending from the top edge. A figure, wearing a headdress and decorative robe, is on the front of the triangle. Their robe flares out at the bottom, covering the base of the triangle. Large swirls in the middle of the triangle, framing the robed figure on either side. Rest of triangle is covered in panels of solid colour, and linear and geometric bands. Artist signature and inscription in bottom right corner. Back is undecorated.

Crown3435/2 a-b

Crown completely covered in yellow beads, with long strands hanging from bottom edge (part a). Crown is conical in shape with a circular pedestal on top. Bird figure sits on top centre of it and is detachable (part b). Body of crown covered in two rows of protruding bird figures. All have large white eyes, tips of tails painted white. On front and back, along bottom edge, are faces with oval-shaped eyes, long noses, and open oval-shaped mouths. All facial features extend outward. Crown has a padded interior, covered with white painted paper mache.

Crown completely covered in white and black beads, with long strands hanging from bottom edge (part a). Crown is conical in shape with a circular pedestal on top. Bird figure sits on top centre of it and is detachable (part b). Body of crown decorated with wide black and white stripes, pedestal decorated with identical thinner stripes. Overtop stripes on main body, there are two rows of protruding bird figures. All birds are white, wings decorated with black stripes. On front and back of crown are black beaded faces, with oval-shaped eyes, long noses and circular open mouths. Features of faces are done in white and extend outward. Crown has a padded interior, covered with unbleached cotton.

Standing wood figure (ibeji), with headdress and damaged feet. Nude male stands straight with arms at sides, connected to waist. Flat stomach, with stylized lizard incised across it, under small rounded breasts. Has pronounced buttocks and defined back muscles. Band of concentric diamonds done in relief across upper chest. Wearing bracelet, decorated with diagonal lines, on left wrist. Lines carved along edges of hands, imitating fingers. Figure has a wide nose, smiling mouth, and intersecting lines carved on each cheek. Eyes have holes drilled into their centres. Ears carved in relief and rest flat against head. Horizontal lines across entire top of head, imitating hair. Tall thin headdress forms an arch, spanning from forehead to nape of neck. Decorated with vertical lines along entire length. Hole drilled into remaining base.
