The longer sides have fifty-three teeth while the shorter sides have twenty-two teeth. A band of triple black hair interwoven with woven palm leaf decorates the wider end of the toothed portion. Three equally spaced bands of black hair are along the length of the toothed portion.

Tapered, rounded cylindrical, red-brown wood handle. Wood is carved into five oval shaped, evenly spaced, forms. Fifty shark's teeth line each of the two sides of the wood and are secured by twisted fibre string. Woven black and yellow fibres form coloured bands at both ends of the 'blade'.
