Ulu type knife. Metal blade is crescent-shaped with a beveled bottom edge. Top edge curves downward from centre on both sides, before flaring out again at corners. Blade is attached to a metal shank, with two rivets, that is inserted into bottom centre of wooden handle. Handle is rectangular in shape, with a rounded top edge.

Stonecut and stencil print of a small family with the father standing in the centre, mother to the left and child to the right. Mother and father are forward facing and child is shown in profile, reaching towards the father. All are wearing white parkas, light brown mittens, and blue-green fur pants. The father and child have matching fur boots, the mother has dark blue boots. The mother’s parka has a long tail, ties in the front and multiple black bands along the bottom edge and cuffs. The father’s parka has a tassel-like decoration on top of the hood, and bands of black and red-orange around the bottom edge and cuffs. The child’s parka has black band decorations. Along the bottom edge of the print the title, technique, edition number, place made, date and artist signature are written in pencil. Three Tattooed Women's Heads with Ulus & One Fish3497/3

Drawing of three identical human faces and a fish, done in two rows of two. Top row has a face and the fish, bottom row has two faces. Faces are drawn horizontally, looking towards the right side of the paper. Eyes are oval-shaped, noses are long and thin, and mouths are open and oval-shaped. All have linear tattoos. There are three horizontal lines across the nose; three lines radiate out in a fan-like shape from the bottom of the mouth; and three lines on each side radiate out from the top of the nose across the forehead. Designs done in dark blue. They each have a yellow and blue ulu next to their face, and each face is outlined in a different colour, red, yellow and dark blue. The fish is facing towards the left, done in light blue, with a red eye. Syllabics written along the bottom centre in dark green. Pencil inscription on back, in bottom right corner.

Hunters on Sea Ice3495/3

Stonecut print of eight hunters pulling a sled. Four hunters are holding onto the sides of the sled, two on either side, and three are pulling it forward with a single cord. The four holding the sled have their backs turned, three pulling are facing left. The eighth hunter is standing alone in the foreground. All are wearing parkas, with the hoods up, short pants, and tall boots. The clothing of the seven with the sled are plain black. The eighth hunter has white trim along the parka cuffs, and bottom edges of the parka and pants. Along the bottom edge of the print the title, technique, edition number, place made, date and artist signature are written in pencil. Green stone carving of a man pulling up a seal. Man has oval-shaped eyes, straight nose, and incised mouth and eyebrows. Finely incised vertical lines across forehead, imitating hair. Figure is wearing a parka, with the hood up, pants, and tall boats. Trim of hood and boots are carved in relief. Trim along bottom edge of parka and cuffs done with incised lines. Man is sitting with his legs spread out. His right is lying flat and bent away from his body, and his left is propped up. Between his legs, he is holding the head of the seal with both hands. The seal is staring upward, with its back to the man and fore flippers held in front of its body. The lower body and hind flippers curve below the man. Circular indents in the face, imitating eyes and nostrils, with incised lines around, imitating whiskers and the mouth. Claws and hind flippers are carved in relief. PUDLOO E7-9 on base.

Carving of a standing bear, made of Baffin Island white marble. Circular indents in face, imitating eyes, and nose and mouth are incised lines. Triangular ears and rounded tail are carved in relief. Head of bear is narrow, tapering into a rounded body, with wide, cylindrical limbs. Face is looking right and tilted at an angle. The hind legs are widely spaced apart, and the left is slightly bent. Forelegs are held in front of the body, with the right bent inward and the left stretched outward. Incised lines along edges of all paws, imitating claws. Partly illegible inscription on base.

Sealskin Tent3495/4

Stonecut and stencil print of a woman with a sealskin tent. The tent is partially assembled with one pole secured and the roof hung overtop. Roof consists of dark yellow and black sealskins stitched together. The woman is standing to the right of the tent, attaching the poles. She has braided black hair and is wearing a white parka, light grey pants and large boots. The parka is long-tailed, with black trim along the hood, and is outlined in dark yellow ink.
