Metal bracelet consisting of nine gold coloured Mexican coins of various dates (1955-1969) fastened together by metal links with a hook clasp at the end. On the top of the coin is an eagle with a snake in its mouth, sitting on a branch and the words ‘Estados Unidos Mexicanos’. On the back is a woman in profile and ‘Cinco Centavos’.

The lower centre and outside panels have a bird motif in alternating blue and red. The upper centre panel is dense with bird and floral motifs in yellow, blue, red and green. Pink damask skirt (part b) with lace and green trim. The skirt has a narrow waistband and a full, pleated skirt. The damask is woven with a leaf motif. Around the centre are three thin green bands and one band of white lace. Around the bottom are two thin green bands. The inner edge is lined with a white band.

Dark brown mask with wide protruding forhead, deep set, cut-out triangular eyes, and a humped nose with a blunt tip. The carved mouth is slightly open with oval-shaped carvings of eyes(?) on the top portion of the lip between the mouth and nose, and long ear-like carvings on either side of the upper lip extending to the eyes.

Small face with raised, detailed hair, sideburns, and mustache. Brow is prominent; nose protrudes; eye holes are between eyes and eyebrows. Face has pink ground with white and black eyes, black hair and nostrils, and red lips. Two small holes per side and one on top for attaching string.
