Carved wooden carnival mask depicting a man with a moustache and beard wearing a cap with flat portion of wood extends from the base of the brim with “E-NATAL / EM-OUZIHLAC” carved onto it. The face has a protruding nose and ears, and slightly open mouth with pointed teeth. The eyebrows, hair, moustache and beard are all indicated by a dark brown burnt decoration. There is a piece of paper attached at the back over the left eye opening with an eye image. Two orange push pins hold it in place, with a third orange pin off to the side.

The rooster is facing the same direction as the man, with its body and head extending forward and to the left side of the face, and its tail extending back. The rooster's legs extend down the sides of the man's face, which has a protruding nose, a moustache and a slightly open mouth showing pointed teeth. The rooster's tail, wings, eyebrows and the man's hair, eyebrows and moustache are all indicated by a dark brown burnt decoration. There is a bit of red paint on the underside of the rooster's wattle, and there is one metal hook on the top of the mask.
