Snake Figure2716/7

Long, curving snake with painted yellow head, white and red eyes and white teeth. Rectangular scales, eyes, nostrils and teeth are carved out. A blade of dried grass is tied around the neck and a piece of twisted grass fibre is knotted at the snout.

Wooden dog and pup carving. The dog is laying down with its head above crossed forepaws. The dog has cowrie shell eyes and black stripes painted overall on brown ground. The pup is suckling at a nipple on the dog's side.

Somewhat oval shaped, dark wood board with bamboo handle depicts a carved scene with cartoon word bubbles. Painted in yellow, white, red, orange and black, a female figure paddling in a dugout canoe is begging a large crocodile to let go of the other female figure it is holding. On the right is a wood hut and palm tree, in the water below are fish and more crocodiles, and in the distance is a blazing sun.

Headdress1477/1

Headdress made of woven fibre that forms a cap with long straps attached together to form a criss-crossing pattern inside a u shape that extends down from the cap. The cap and straps are ornamented with off-white cowrie shells, and the woven fibre is dark brown.
