The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Sixteen rattles of similar size, each a thin sheet metal in the shape of a bivalve, hinged with a fold and two holes for suspension at the fold. Each rattle is convex with many raised bumps.
Thin sheet metal in the shape of a bivalve, hinged with a fold. Convex surfaces have many raised bumps. Small holes for suspension pass through both sides of the hinge.
A coarse, black ware pot with a short, central spout with lip. The vessel is a simplified fish form with tail, dorsal and two pairs of lateral fins. A seam joins the two halves of this flattish pot together and obscures some of the detail of the teeth and lip band. The textural details of the face and fins appear to be made in the mold.
A black stirrup spout vessel in the form of a prawn or lobster with overlapping skeletal plates along its back, a pair of front clawed appendages and five pairs of lateral ones. A small monkey is attached at the base of the spout. A lengthwise seam joining the two symmetrical halves of the pot is clearly visible on the inside through breaks in the stirrup-spout. The stirrup is broken off the vessel and part of the spout is missing. Some gluing and restoration materials are in evidence.
The textile is rectangular and striped with a string fringe. The main panel is a single, complete loom width of warp-striped cotton striped in light and medium shades of brown with solid brown camelid bands along each long side. Sewn onto each brown band is a band of red and yellow circles. The fringe at both ends is made of warp loops and secured by two rows of countered weft twining. Z-spun, two plied, s yarns, sewn.
A thin disc of yellow coloured metal with a border of embossed dots and an indent. One hole punched near edge.
One disc-shaped stone bead and three fragments from other beads. All are blue-green.
An inverted tetrahedron of solid metal with a short shank. The shank has two identical human faces on either side of a suspension hole.
A gold coloured bead, constructed by rolling from an oval of sheet metal; roughly ellipsoid in shape but with pointed ends that have small openings for stringing. The join is a simple overlap.
359 disc-shaped beads strung on an handspun cotton cord. Black, white, oranges, yellows and reds, in stone and shell. Coloured beads are interspersed with groups of black beads. The beads vary in length and diameter.
