The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

13 convex golden rectangles, each with a slot at the narrower end.
A sheet metal cone with an unlapped seam and two holes set opposite each other, 4 cm from the lower edge. A remnant of a metal strap remains in one hole. A third hole, near the apex of the cone also has the remnant of a metal strap in it.
A sheet metal cone with a seam and two holes set opposite each other, 4 cm from the lower edge. Remnants of a metal strap remain in one hole. A third hole, near the apex of the cone also has a metal strap in it. The surface of the cone has the remains of gilding.
Four small squares and one larger square of metal. Each square has two holes punched near one edge.
A thin, flat metal plume, roughly rectangular in shape, with a narrow stalk which ends in a small broken point. Gilded surface.
A long shank of rolled sheet metal, joined to an irregular, cast finial. The finial has an oval, head-like form with two hooks that may represent horns, and a flattened, round protrusion between them. The metal is brownish/black. A third type of metal is introduced as a flux at the join. This yellowish metal has file marks.
Fouteen spindle whorls threaded on handspun cotton yarn; six are convexly conical, of incised black on orange ceramic; one is flat ceramic disc; four are globular or conical stone (?), these are green (three) and yellow (one). One of the green is half missing and two are decorated with drilled, dotted circles. The yellow is plain. Two whorls are made of yellow shell; one truncated biconical whorl is made of metal and is now covered in green deposit. All whorls have a central hole.
A five strand necklace with two stands now broken. The small disc shaped beads alternate in groups of black stone beads with groups or orange or purple shell beads. The shell beads frequently have two white beads as borders. The beads are threaded on hand spun brown cotton cords. The fastening cords are re-plied and thus larger in scale. Part b is a few beads that have fallen off the broken strands and are now threaded on monofilament.
A hollow golden sphere of metal, constructed from two hemispheres. There is a short break in the join.
A spherical, gold bead constructed from two hemispheres of sheet metal joined at the equator. Two punched holes, one at each pole. Approximately half of the golden surface is covered with red/brown deposits.
