Poncho3151/3

Wool poncho. Garment is rectangular in shape, consisiting of two nearly identical peices of cloth sewn together in a thick stitch at shoulders, leaving an opening for the head and neck at mid-point. Background colour is a light brown, with horizontal stripes in two panels at top and bottom in colours of red, green, blue, pink and others. A single green line runs between the panels.

Wool textile. Piece is rectangular in shape, with a thick cord edging sewn along all sides. Stripes fill the textile, with wide bands of light tan interspersed with thin lines in groupings of dark pink, red, orange, grey and green. Narrow lines of pattern in grey and pink sit atop the tan. Cord edging has a repeating diamond-shaped pattern in dark red, orange and grey.

Wool textile. Piece is rectangular in shape, consisting of two pieces of weaving virtually identical in colour and pattern that have been sewn together at midpoint. Stripes fill the textile, in a variety of thicknesses and in colours of brown, pink, orange, grey and red. Edges are hemmed with a woven cord holding a repeating diamond-shaped pattern.

Small alabaster illa. Stone is carved into a rectangle, flat on top and somewhat curved on the underside, with non-parallel long edges. Top surface is engraved with a set of rectangles, large and encompassing on the outside, with concentric sets of two on the interior. The relatively wide engraved lines are coloured dark grey. Underside has a cross shape scratched on one side.

Small stone carving of a farm scene. Rectangular, with a collection of buildings of a uniform height, rooves covered with cross hatching, linear designs, and circles. A small empty square sits at centre. Along front edge stands a line of seven animals, possibly sheep, facing outwards. All have rounded heads and horns to the sides, with the suggestion of legs at bottom. Underside of amulet is unmarked.

Small alabaster farm scene, with a collection of buildings in various heights surrounding a central square. Many have a roof, while others are flat with circular or hatched decorations. On one side is a line of four cattle facing outwards, each showing front legs, horns, small carved eyes, and broad backs. Remnants of dark orange pigment can be seen in the cracks of the buildings and cattle. Underside is unmarked.

Clay bull. Animal stands on short cone-shaped legs, neck tall with small head held high, and curving horns above protruding ears. Eyes are etched into the side of the head while snout holds incised mouth and nostrils and a tongue raised to lick nose. Stomach is rounded and hangs low. On top of rump is a hole surrounded by a high neck leading into the hollow centre of the vessel. Between this and neck of cow arches a handle. Object is decorated overall with light markings of leafy tree branches and lines with a scalloped design.

Clay ram. Torso rests on ground, with no evidence of legs. Small tail curves down above rump. Neck is short and thick, a small head with narrow snout emerging. Large horns curve onto cheeks and eyes protrude slightly. At top centre of back is a hole with short neck and rounded rim leading into the hollow centre of the vessel. Body is painted a dark red at the midpoint over a base colour of brown.

Clay bull. Animal is standing on short legs, head forward, tail curved onto hip. Neck is arched, and dewlap is pronounced below throat. Stomach is well rounded. At top centre of back is a hole with a short neck and pronounced rim leading into the hollow centre of the vessel. Upper sides, neck and forehead of bull are painted a rust red with white linear emphasis.

Bull is painted with yellow, orange and green over a brown base, with a shiny glaze in select areas.
