Fragment: TextileSf902

Ragged golden-brown band fragment in plain weave with warp face. Warp ends appear to be looped over weft cord. Folded and sewn to band of dark brown cloth with gold/brown geometric pattern. Plain weave with weft floats. Feathers(?) have been caught around weft floats at even intervals. Gold-brown yarn is two-ply, dark brown yarn is single, both are S twist.

Woven wool belt with all over diamond in dark pink and dark red pattern. Three strips of diamond pattern in yellow, green, light pink, and red near edges and in middle. Outside border of blue and red stripe. One end slightly tapered and loom cord finished, with woven strap in blue, pink and white. The other narrowed with ten braids sewn together, woven strap in same colours attached to end.

Belt with one end tapered. Other end is finished in seven braids brought to a taper. Woven, patterned ties on each end. Narrow bands in chain link design; green and yellow strips near outer edges, and yellow, purple and white in middle, on pink and red similar design background. Edges have purple and white borders.

A multi-coloured belt composed of orange, purple, light red/purple, yellow pieces of fur and fleece. These pieces are sewn together on a piece of animal hide. Both ends contain a woolen brown and white braided tassel, knotted with loose threads at end.
