Jar1262/265 a-b

Large dark brown coloured bulbous jar (part a ) and lid (part b). Jar tapers slightly inwards at the top to create a lipped opening. Lid is dome-like and has a ceramic loop attached at the top to the centre of the lid. The body of the jar is decorated with small linear grooves. There are pieces of raised clay that are layed out in a scalloped design around the upper portion of the jar. Above that, there are pieces of raised clay that are layed out in circular designs and align with the with the curve of the scalloped design below.

Wooden spear with a metal band around one end and a conical, tapering metal point affixed to the other--a metal spearhead (#1262/253 b) attaches to the end with the metal band. Half of the shaft--near the end with the metal band--has small, sliver-like objects inserted into the wood at regular intervals.
