The lower portion has been cut, then stitched together to give the mask its shape. The cheeks are a slightly darker shade of pink. Holes are cut for the eyes, nostrils and mouth. A single small black dot on the mask's right cheek. A length of thin black string is looped through the top centre of the mask.

Tall bulbous decorated headdress which tapers in towards the headband. The headdress is covered with black faux fur(?), then decorated with a large crest, and strips of red, light blue, dark blue and green ribbons. White faux fur is attached to the side. A thick twisted string of red, gold and green is looped around the headdress. There are two shorts black ties.

An ornate band goes over the top and is decorated by a row of fake "jewels". There are two shorts ties of red, white and green.

Carved wooden rifle. The paint has mostly worn off leaving remnants of brown, red, green and white paint. There is inlaid coloured glass in green, red, turquoise, light green and clear incorporated into the designs. The metal components - trigger, barrel, receiver, action - have been removed. A piece of a wire coathanger is wrapped around the centre of the gun.

Blue feathers extend from the top of the headdress and down one side. The opposite side has three tassels, and there is one tassel below the feathers. There is a black Velcro chin strap.

Hand puppet of José (Joseph). Head and arms are carved from wood and painted. The hands are disproportionately large. He has black eyes and eyebrows, straight black chin-length hair with ears visible, small red mouth, and black facial hair with beard that extends outwards. He wears a carved cowboy hat. His fabric body is vibrant blue and painted with beige designs decorated with red, white and some yellow dots. The collar and cuffs are lined with beige lace. The fabric is nailed to the hands and head. Operated by inserting a hand inside the body to control its head, arms and movements.

Hand puppet of José (Joseph). Head, arms and legs are carved from wood and painted. The hands are disproportionately large. The nose is long and exaggerated. He has black eyes and eyebrows, chin-length straight black hair, and black facial hair which extends out into an upwards-curling beard. On his head he wears a top hat decorated with repeating gold Star of David, and on his feet a pair of black boots. His fabric outfit is yellow and painted. The fabric is nailed to the hands and head. A small strap extends down inside the head. Operated by inserting a hand inside the body of the puppet to control its head, arms and movements.

She has black eyes and eyebrows, straight black chin-length hair with ears visible, and a small red mouth. Her fabric outfit is teal and painted with light blue designs decorated with red and black dots. The fabric is nailed to the hands and head. Operated by inserting a hand inside the body of the puppet to control its head, arms and movements.
