Rectangular, appliquéd wall hanging or canopy, featuring repeated motifs formed from pieces of grey, red, yellow and tan cotton textile which have been cut, the edges turned under and slip-stitched down onto an off-white cotton textile background. In the large central field, there are 28 identically shaped square motifs, measuring approximately 20 cm x 20 cm, with stylized floral centres, arranged in a multicoloured checkerboard pattern. Around the edges there is an appliquéd border of abstracted elephant motifs on all four sides, edged with two rows of red and grey sawtooth designs. Small loops of cotton string are spaced at the corners and at intervals along the edges.

A miniature mobile temple with several doors, each painted with various folk deities and text, appearing to tell a story. The last door concludes the narration, opening with a darshan of Ram, Lakshman and Sita, standing in the innermost chamber of the temple. The sides and ends of the shrine are decorated with floral, ray and cross-hatching motifs. There is a small drawer under the doors and a compartment in back for worshippers to deposit coins (see Cultural Context field). A leather strap is attached to the top. Black cotton pants with waist gathered at a wide waistband and banded cuffs with geometric embroidery. All stitching is executed with black thread.

Long, rectangular, black cotton textile with a white stripe on each end of a floral motif. The central design consists of a green branch-like image with red and white flowers and/or berries. Each end has a constricted amount of images while the centre is more spaced out in vertical and horizontal lines. The ends are raw.

Large rectangular piece of thin, muslin-like, tie-dyed cotton. Fabric has been folded in four and entirely covered with closely spaced, knot-like resist ties that penetrate all four layers of folded cotton, giving the material a puckered appearance. The outer border of the fabric has been dyed orange, while the rectangular centre is a deep red. Where resist ties have come undone at one end, a minute dotted motif of white, yellow, and green circles surrounding tiny red or orange centres emerges.

Man's cloak in 2 sections, stitched together with red, turquoise, orange and natural wool. Woven horizontal and vertical striped design, along edge in brown, band of two red and one black stripes, orange at very edge, and band of orange, green, red, turquoise and black run parallel to edge. At ends, a parallel bands run perpendicular to edge. Red, black checker, orange and green bands, as well as solid black stripe, and band of black between red lines. Band of wool warp threads only near fully woven ends.

Pair of men's shoes, slip-on style, with squared toes, and pointed tongues as well as heel backs. The uppers are cut from one piece of tan leather edged with narrow strips of tan leather and attached by thin green leather stitching. Separate triangular leather reinforcements at upper heels are also stitched with green leather. A thick sole is formed by glued layers of leather with extra layers forming the heel and half sole at the front of each shoe. Upper are glued and sewn with a thick strand of fibrous jute (?) string.
