Pipe2902/20

Long cylindrical opium pipe with engraved stem and inverted cone shaped bowl. Bowl is deep and has a protruding rim. Engravings are decorative lines and a diamond pattern in the centre.

Pipe2902/21

Opium pipe with smooth, cylindrical stem. The neck and bowl are engraved with patterns of decorative lines. Bowl is round and deep. Two tassles hang from beneath the pipe's neck. The longer tassle is brown, the shorter is red.

Carrying Board2902/36

Two pieces of wood, bound together by woven rattan board. Narrows at one end. Narrow end also bound together by third piece of wood wrapped in rattan. Thick green rope tied to top and hangs loose with wooden 'V' shaped piece tied at end. Two light brown fibre straps attached to woven rattan, with dark brown rope tied to one end of strap and one end of wood.

Rectangular cloth with two rectangles of geometric batiked design. Separating the two batiked sections is a band of white and blue applique. Bottom rectangle has red applique border with white and black diamond pattern. Batiked sections are accented with pink embroidery and red, white, and black diamond appliqués. Edges are bordered with blue band and purple band with flower motif. Top of cloth has band of dark blue fabric. Back is lined with same dark blue fabric. A paper card with a flower motif on the front is attached to the top right corner.

Short Pants2902/58

Blue pair of shorts with batiked patterns and elastic waist band. Legs of shorts have geometric blue and light brown pattern with pink geometric appliques. Trim on cuffs and across crotch is purple and pink embroidery bordering white and pink stripes. Left leg has strip of dark blue fabric, and right leg has strip of dark blue fabric on back.

Jacket2902/54

Small blue jacket with pink and white starburst appliques covering the front, sleeves, and across the back. Bottom of jacket has pink trim with colourful embroidery, front and back. Top of embroidery is bordered by yellow zigzag applique. Embroidery also covers right jacket flap which crosses over the left side. Jacket is fastened shut with four silver bells and four colourful wool loops. Sleeve cuffs have green trim, pink embroidery and yellow zigzag applique. Back of jacket has large pink embroidered starburst outlined in yellow. Interior of jacket is lined with white fabric with green floral pattern.

Rectangular pink cloth with smaller rectangle sewn to top. Used for carrying babies. Larger rectangle has blue applique with batiked geometric pattern underneath pink zigzag appliques, surrounded by a pink, white, and green striped border. Smaller rectangle has same striped border and eight squares with geometric embroidery. Reverse side of cloth is blue with light brown dots and semi-circles, and pink border. There is a rectangular dark blue patch on the reverse side on the smaller rectangle. A paper tag with flower motif is attached to one corner.

Jacket2902/65

Black jacket with open front. Thin piece of rectangular fabric forms the collar with a blue strip on the right side and a red strip on the left. Blue fabric runs down arm seams and down sides at front, red fabric at back. Sleeves have patch of applique at cuffs with band of colourful embroidered triangles. Cuffs have blue trim. Back of jacket has colourful geometric embroidery on bottom. Small slits up sides with three magenta pompoms on each corner.
