Boots2663/65 a-b

High boots with slit at upper back. Leg portion is of thick black wool with blue braid at back and blue bias cotton cloth at top. Soles are of thick light brown leather closely stitched with two rows of angled stitches and regularly-shaped small stitches. Upper sole edged in blue-green leather, above which is piping and then seven rows of close stitches in various colours. Band of red wool around foot, with triangular of chain stitch embroidery over toes. Band of green wool fabric above this, with alternating orange and white circles embroidered at front and rectangle of blue, green and red fabric with embroidery around heel, with appliqué red and blue triangle above. Long embroidered red and blue triangle at front of shin.

Brass image of a standing male figure (black Dzambhala) with lozenge-shaped headdress, holding a jewel-spouting mongoose in his right arm, and a scull cap in his left. He is standing on a recumbent male figure (the yellow lord of wealth). On a rectangular, hollow lotus base with a double row design on front, rough finishing on back, with wood insert inside bottom of base.

Drum841/18

Small skin drum. Drum has two dome-shaped pieces that are attached back to back. Skin has been stretched over wooden base. There is a thick skin band around centre of the drum that attaches to a circular button and a braided metal ring. Two smaller fibre strands are attached to the central skin band.

Drum Case841/17

Cylindrical brown coloured fibre case with green and orange fibre design sewn on the top. There is a large flap on the side of the case. When closed, the flap is secured with a small white button and fits into a fibre loop on the side of the case.
