Prayer BeadsEe4.35

Strands of slightly irregularly sized human bone beads are threaded on a thick string with carved "medallions" of bone dividing the strands into lines of two, three, or sometimes four. There are fourteen square "medallions", one diamond shape, one pointed oval, and one five-sided piece. Carved decorations include dots, flowers, spirals, and human figures.

Sash397/6 d

Sash composed of woven wool with lengthwise bands of orange, dark red, medium red, blue-black, and off-white. The centre band is composed of black with two rows of short vertical stripes. The ends are twisted into strands with a knot near the end of each.

Copper-coloured metal teapot with a short reverse curved spout, a tall neck, handle, and ornate with finial attached to the handle with a metal chain. Handle and spout are both ornately cast with crisscrossing, scrolling patterns and a boar-like head on the handle. Decorative metal trim rings the neck and lid in several places. Handle, chain, finial, and ornamentation around the spout and neck are executed with a brass-coloured metal.

A pair of earrings (parts a-b), each with a red coral bead set into an elaborate low-grade silver setting. The settings consist of large heavy loops incised with designs. There are two empty mountings on each setting where other stones may have been set. The coral beads are fixed to the setting with wires which are attached through holes drilled through the beads.

Three-headed, six-armed female standing on a round lotus base. Each hand except one holds an attribute. These are: a rosary (?); lotus bud; holy water jar; leaf; and nail (?). Primary hand on the left is empty. Each head wears a crown. Scarf draped around shoulders; narrow sash at waist. Bracelets, anklets, and necklaces are worn. Part of crown on frontal head is broken off.
