Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; above, ‘P’ within a cross; beneath, ‘A’; in exergue, ‘SELISϤ’.

Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘Ϛ’; above, upside down image of consular robes; beneath, ‘A’; to lower right, ‘dNMAVΓ’; in exergue, ‘SELI[SϤ]’. Coin has been overstruck, causing confusion on both sides. The inscription and the consular robes on the reverse indicate that this coin was in use during the reign of Maurice Tiberius, a previous emperor.
