Bowhead whale shaped handle or toggle with a rectangular hole transversely through centre; oval incised flippers at bottom corner of hole, just before inlaid eyes and beginning of mouth incision which follows long tapering snout. Narrows before tail flukes at back.
Bowhead whale shaped toggle with transverse hole drilled at centre. Short u-shaped flippers on sides next to wood ? inlaid eyes. Incised downturned mouth extends from just below each eye across large tapering snout. Narrows considerably to fluked tail at back.
Miniature carved seal with flat snout; black circular graphite eyes on top of slightly rounded head. Body tapers to back. Triangular flippers with triangular notch between. Short flippers at front bottom. Hole drilled through centre top to bottom. Sawn at both ends, rasp-like marks and some scratches on smooth surface. Small amount of mottled dentine at top of head. Entire figure is mounted on a rectangular, brown wooden base.
Miniature, carved arctic fox with tapering snout, incised mouth on flat end with nostrils at top. Eyes on sloping face with erect ears at top of head; straight body with tail out straight behind; contoured legs. Stain on top back, shallow holes on each side and on one back leg. Longitudinal cracks on body; 'Mastodon' printed on side; rectangle tape mark on one side. Entire figure is mounted on a rectangular, brown wooden base.
Standing bear or dog with stubby tail and legs; head has flattened snout with slightly zigzagged mouth, diagonal slits for nose. Face slopes down on each side from nose. Incised eyes below triangular ears. Longitudinal channel along belly. Naturally pitted, mottled dentine with scratches and carving marks.
Carved walrus with head raised; tusks project down from jaw; mouth is indicated by downturned line on flat front with inlaid wood (or baleen?) nostrils above; inlaid eyes on either side of rounded head. Double incised ring at neck; flippers on sides and underneath are indicated by incised u-shapes. Mottled dentine between tusks. Longitudinal striations along back and head. Other carving marks all over. Entire figure is mounted on a rectangular black-green stone base.
Tapering cylinder with closely spaced incised spiral lines in 8 places along the length, widest line band at ends. Three closely spaced incised concentric rings are x'd 5 times around circumference; a single line equally off-centre to other side, is similarly x'd. Between first 3 line bands, at each end, are rows of x's. Two shallow elliptical holes, at centre, forming a channel for fastening.
Cylindrically shaped stylized seal; slope sided flat-topped appendage at centre around oval hole. Seal head at one end with incised circle and dot eyes, downturned mouth, nostrils and triangular line at muzzle. Square, indentation at top of head; flippers at other end with hole between. Top, non-appendage side has 3 rows of circle and dot motif. Mottled dentine visible, longitudinally, along under side at centre and across seal's head.
Curved circular pipe with scene in relief on top; round pipe bowl with funnel-shaped interior at one end; stylized seal on side of bowl; two walrus heads on opposite side; larger walrus with head towards bowl above a rectangular platform with two headless figures on each side; each is sitting, back to back, pointing a rifle. One rifle is broken off. Behind large walrus on each side runs a row of five seals, the first two face each other on each side. On top at opposite end from bowl is a semi-reclining headless figure holding a horizontal stick-like object, two smaller standing figures hold up other end of stick. Hole drilled the length of the pipe and through bowl meet first hole. Mottled dentine runs parallel to central hole. Natural tusk colours range from white to brown with greyish areas.
Long rectangular tube with rounded corners, drilled hole through centre, longitudinally, and circular human figure with head appendage at top. Head is flattened in side view; raised forehead and nose; heart shaped facial plane with incised, dark brown crescent-shaped eyes and mouth. Relief carving on tube includes arms which are pulled back along figure's side; feet are sticking out 2/3 rds of the way down the tube. There is an indentation indicating legs. Seal on back with raised head at bottom, inlaid round nostrils, eyes and smaller circles behind and to the sides of eyes. Front limbs straddle tube; seal tapers towards back with back flippers indicated by vertical lines and curved lines converging to end from 2 dots. Incised decoration includes; semi-circle line on figure's chest, along this line is a stick figure with arms outstretched between 2 rectangles, one of which maybe an animal; large frontal figure at bottom, below feet is crosshatched with arms raised. Decorative band on at bottom edge on sides and back are 3 horizontal lines; between first and second are triangle shapes extending in from both lines. Arrows on each side. Design worn on side. Few longitudinal cracks, some carving marks and embedded dirt. Head has been broken and repaired with adhesive.
