At the inside edge of the V is a strip (13 mm) of multicoloured, slanted Greek key motifs which has been embroidered onto an open-weave textile, then appliquéd onto the piece; the outer edge is finished with a narrow strip of black cotton textile. The lower edge of the V is finished with green commercially-made fringe (14 cm). The piece is underlined with pastel striped cotton textile.
