Rectangular mat with woven pattern. There is a pair of thick borders running the length of the mat. The borders have a group of deep shade cedar strands flanked by dark strands woven through the warp. There are four dark, intersecting bands running through the weft at either end. The edges are finished by including a thick strip of cedar as the outermost strand and overcasting on a core of cedar.

There is a border along the length of the mat formed by two pairs of dark strips through the warp. The edges are finished by including a wide strip of cedar as the outermost strand and overcasting on a cedar bark core. The mat is made of two pieces sewn together through the middle. There is a wooden dowel attached across one end.
