opaque, secondary basalt debitage flack, no retouch, dark grey/black with tan cortex, one impact mark and rough bulb of percussion
Polished adze. Possibly bifacially beveled with damage on the distal edge. Bit is missing, may have been a straight bit. Proximal edge is flat and worn. Various light and dark green mottled with brown
Polished unifacial adze. Visible use-wear on both proximal and distal ends. Proximal end has damage or use-wear which alters shape (possibly hitting point). One edge looks like natural break, and is rough compared to the other edge which is smooth and semi-rounded. Medium grey with black, dark grey and brown mottling.
Hand maul fragment, consisting of the base and shaft. Use-wear present around smoothed edges and damage on one part of the base's edge and on the proximal part of the shaft. The bottom of the base also has a portion that looks mishapen (possibly damaged or natural).
n=3 possibly ungulate teeth. Crown worn down to the root, with the distal portion of the root missing. Light yellow root, light brown enamel. Tooth 6a's measurments L=22.47 mm , W=17.17mm and T=7.82. Tooth 6b's measurments L=21.02mm , W=18.92mm, and T=9.56mm. Tooth 6c's measurments L=23.42mm, W=18.03mm and T=11.25mm. Likely has no archaeological significance. Will be discussing with Cara whether or not to keep in our collection for comparative purposes.
Palm sized unifacially bevelled adze fragment. Edge of bit has some damage, possibly use-wear . Polished appearance. Light grey with light brown hue, with varying mottled browns and black.
Bifacially bevelled adze, polished with damage on both proximal and distal portions. Possible use wear on bevelled bit as well. Light green with dark brown mottling, white paint near bevelled bit.
Obsidian lanceolate point. Dark greyish black with noticeable retouch on both faces. Plano-convex cross section, excurvate blade edge, contracting stems and unnotched.
Coiled cedar bark basket. Dark brown trapezoid decorations and loop, the trapezoid pattern is slanted to the left, a mark of Nlaka’pamux weavers. The small loop is connected to the top of the basket. It is a pale yellowish white, with medium brown details
Coiled basket, slightly discoloured, tightly sewn, and has a balanced, even pattern. This basket has different stitching than typical baskets, with stitches wrapping around two rows of cedar roots, rather than just one, the bottom of the basket is representative of a slat bottom. The basket is a pale yellowish white, with medium brown details.
