Rectangular wooden slab with a metal grater on top. Symmetrical pierced design in one end of wood. Holes in metal grater randomly made with a sharp instrument (nail); metal from a flattened can. Grater is nailed onto wood. Wood is slightly rounded on one side, flat on the other side and flaring outward slightly at one end where there is a cut out design of inter-laced curves.

Symmetrical pierced geometric knot-like design carved on both sides of handle. Blade has same painted design in blue, green, red, and white geometric in reverse on both sides of paddle.

Plain with calligraphy burned into the side.

Kettle (a) with brown stained and lacquered sides, black top and handle and red lacquered lid with metal knob. Red lacquer inside; has three legs.

Plain dark brown and black, unmarked; legs are flared and have rounded bottom edges such that weight only rests on the centre.

Oval shaped tray with gold spirals on red ground. Sides are open weave bamboo. Bottom is black. Paper labels on bottom with the numbers 750 and 3.

Set of three shallow circular trays in decreasing size woven from bamboo. Paper label on smallest tray reads: "No. 707 Fruit basket, Osono Company, Ltd fob us $1.55".

Fire kit consisting of: carved bamboo case with cap (a), dark grey piece of flint (b), and an elongated piece of rusted steel (c). An elongated, rectangular piece of dark grey stone is attached to the lid with string and a woven band of rattan. Inside the case are wads of pounded bark tinder.
