Embroidered cloth with sixteen stylized condors(?), band borders of thirteen invert-repeat bird motifs above and below, and three selvages. Red, yellow-cream, blue and light brown dyed alpaca on brown cotton plain weave ground. Condors have triangular tails, diamond-shaped eyes, and three crests. (Incomplete object.)

Tuft of loose cords made of plant fibre and bindings of camelid wool threads. Cords have knots at the ends and threads are forming circular weave patterns and are intertwined with the cords. Yellow-brown, red-brown, green, grey-brown, blue, purple-brown and orange-red dyed wool. Incomplete.

Fragment of an interlocking tapestry tunic. Approximately half of front-left side of a tunic with part of central selvage. Cloth. Upper portion has stepped blocks of slit tapestry and plain weave. Repeated geometricised and diagonal reverse bird motif on tapestry. The same motif appears in diagonal bands in border and simplified version is used on yellow tab fringe. Systematic shifts in colour combinations. Multicoloured alpaca wefts on cotton warps in yellow, blue, red-brown, brown and cream. Restored.

Small fragment of purple and brown hand spun, hand loomed, double woven cloth with a few pink and black stripes in the centre field. One long edge is finished with a cord-like brown border, the other long edge is frayed, one side edge is hemmed back, the other is hemmed near the finished corner but remainder has loose fibres.

Small fragment of brown, purple and pink hand spun, hand loomed, double woven cloth. Made up of two identically patterned pieces of fabric, hand-stitched together at the red band and finished along one edge with a length of dark brown woven cording. Stacked opposing diagonals create a repeated zizzag motif in two of the bands.

Carrying Cloth2653/1

Aymara-style carrying cloth or shawl composed of two rectangular pieces of woven cloth. Dark brown wool with very subtle bands of varying saturation. Four very thin red stripes run parallel with the pattern. Two of the red stripes are near the edges of the cloth and two are near the centre of the cloth. There is a seam down the centre, and it is sewn with black yarn.

Woven, wool hat, conical in shape with two triangular shaped earflaps with black and red tassel at the end. The body of the hat is detailed with geometric patterns of stripes, rectangles and zigzags light brown, brown, red, green and pink. There is a green tassel attached to the tip of the hat.
