Cantonese opera instrument. Two-stringed instrument (banhu) or bamboo fiddle (zhutiqin), with a bow attached. There are two gourd-like tuning pegs at one end, and two strings stretched over the wooden neck, attached to a bamboo soundbox. The bow is strung with black hair.

A light thin bamboo grass knife that is carved, and decorated with a tooth pattern edge along the handle which has a dark linear and zig zag pattern on a natural light-coloured background. The end of the handle has a simple finial. The straight blade comes to a sharp point.

A hollow cylindrical bamboo grass piece that has an exterior surface design consisting of lozenges, herring bone, and two fish finely done in dark on a light natural-coloured background. There is a long opening approximately three-quarters the length of the case.

Weft comb (a) is made of four pieces that are fitted together as a frame and are tied with cord. The teeth in the centre of the wooden frame appear to be made of split bamboo. Braided fibre cording is attached to each end of the frame and is secured with knots. The bobbin (b) is boat-shaped and dug out in the centre. Missing shaft and reel.
