Bands of bamboo (?) laid horizontally across the shield at the top and bottom, held in place with zigzagging stitched of dark brown rattan (?); bands continue on reverse. Cantonese opera prop. Long, hollow brown length of bamboo with eight finger holes bored into one side and a red string looped through two separate holes at one end.

Cantonese Opera prop. Stem switch is two pieces of stem bent in half and bound with a strip of stem material. A small piece of string also binds two of the stems at the bound handle. There is a loop of cotton fibre that has been knotted. The loose ends are split and frayed. One of the frayed ends has been completely severed from the bottom of the bound handle. Another has been partially severed from the bottom of the bound handle.

Cylindrical bamboo container, or lidded box. The lid is tied to the base with string secured by woven bands, one on the container and one on the lid. Handle is secured by woven rattan bands. Handle has a plain two prong-like base. Upper portion of the handle tapers and has a groove around it, creating a long mouth-like shape. There is a small hole through the mid-upper end, creating an eye-like feature.

Light brown coloured long and narrow flute with three evenly spaced holes on front, and two holes on back that are further apart from each other. Body is hollow. Flute has nine distinct sections of different geometric designs that include checkered, zigzag, diamond, triangular, and linear patterns.
