Length of bamboo outer surface trimmed off. Three white half feathers adhered longitudinally at one end, bound by bands of paper with gold-coloured paper in between. Another band of paper has seven characters. A large piece of paper is wrapped diagonally around the middle of the shaft. Tip is cut straight across, blunt.

Wall (part d) end of house has peak at top, measuring 11 cm x 25 cm. Exterior roof (part f) has lengthwise grooves, each side measuring 12 cm x 29 cm. Floor (part g) is 14 cm x28 cm. Tatami mat (part h) mounted on wood has piece cut from end, and measures 25 cm x 11 cm. Tatami mat on stand (part i) measures 11 cm x 16 cm x 3 cm. Reed and bamboo mat (part j). Ladder (part k) has five rungs, and measuring 4 cm x 14 cm. Broken off bundle of wooden pieces (part l).

Small light brown cylindrical bamboo container with two pieces of hide that bave brown parts of hair still on used for caps at each end. Strip of dark brown leather sewn together with hide at the bottom goes all around the container for a handle and is held in place in four places by a small string of beads on the bottom edge of the cap. Red beads on the cap and white with blue striped beads also.

Rectangular frame of bamboo covered on both sides with reeds horizontally placed and sewn on the sides and down the centre. Inside small stones. Light red-brown and clear white partially stained brown. Two pieces of wood longer at ends with short reeds placed horizontally and tied to each other from the top and the bottom. One piece of wood at the ends.

A plain handle which tapers to a square finial. Ten long teeth fan outward radially. Twisted fibre cord and plain flat fibre are coiled around the middle.

Round, flat-bottomed basket. Strips of narrow bamboo are woven around wide vertical bamboo slats in wicker work. Palm leaf strips are wrapped around edge to form a rim. Natural bamboo colour.

Market basket; round, flat bottomed, shallow basket with near vertical sides. Woven of bamboo strips, in strong wicker work construction; natural colour. Palm leaf wrapped around rim.

A flat inverted u-shaped paper fan on a frame of very fine bamboo strips, which radiate from the centre of the flat edge around the handle. Top half of fan is red while lower half is light brown with a round medallion enclosing a red, green, and light brown swirl motif at the centre. Painted orange in half of a marquise shape around the handle. Orange area is surrounded with black paper. Straight handle of wood is split at one end for insertion of the fan and is painted black.
