Knife1304/1 a-b

A long metal knife (part a) sharpened on one edge and angled down to a point from the other edge. The grip of the handle has braided coil around the metal, and the pommel, possibly made of ivory, is ornately carved with an angled spiral design from which groups of hair emanate. The sheath (part b) is made of brown wood with sections wrapped around with light brown and dark brown bark. Attached is a long thin hollow bark piece with braided bark.

Snuff Bottle1080/5 a-b

A small thin cloisonne snuff bottle with a scene of two deer-like animals in a landscape on each side surrounded by a blue foral and spiral design. The lid (part b) has a rounded top with a blue floral design, from which a long stick protrudes downward into the bottle with a slightly curved point at the other end.

Basket1504/4 a-b

A low cylindrical light brown woven basket (part a) with a conical lid (part b) which has a knob at the top centre. Both the basket and the lid have two horizontal rows of coloured animal, bird, and tree designs. The basket has a horizontal patterned row of alternating orange and brown-black parallelograms along the bottom. This same horizontal patterned row is also along the side of the lid and around the knob which is woven with a sunburst-like design. Colours include brown, black, yellow, red, green, and purple.
