Round coiled basket with raised foot ring and upward curving sides. Top three coils of the walls are scalloped resulting in open work semicircles just below rim. Outer sides are decorate with cherry bark flowers; rim has vertical cherry bark lines in alternating groups of red and black; rim has vertical cherry bark lines with groups of red alternating with small groups of black.

Tapa Cloth1188/44

The tapa cloth is natural in colour with designs painted in reddish-brown and gray. There are eight squares all together; two rows of four. The squares are defined by thick brown lines outlined with gray. All the squares have a diagonal line in the centre. The rest of the square is filled with snake-like lines and small coloured-in shapes. All the lines and shapes are brown and outlined in gray then surrounded by a dotted gray line. The cloth is painted on one side only.

A small light yellow-brown square basket (part a) with a lid (part b). There are horizontal rows of blue and purple around the middle of the side of the basket (part a). The side of the basket tapers into an upright rim. The lid (part b) has a brown square line around the centre with three blue square lines surrounding it. Two horizontal brown rows go around the side of the lid (part b).

Fan1234/1

A light brown coloured fan woven out of plant fibres. The bottom of the fan curves around to a point at both sides and then curves up to a point at the top. Half of the fan is concave, and the other half of the fan is convex. The design is that of a darker black plant fibre having eight side-by-side rows emanating at a curve from the embedded handle point. The handle is wrapped around with an orange-brown braided plant fibre rope.

Large rectangular tapa cloth with handpainted designs in light and dark brown on natural coloured ground. In the centre are ‘X’ motifs, flanked on each side by church-like buildings and surrounded by stars and dots. Towards the ends are forest scenes. Each end has four squares, some containing numbers to show where cuts are made during special ceremonies.
