Light brown woven hand basket featuring alternating horizontal bands of weaving and zigzagging open work. Horizontal bands of weaving have yellow and brown striped linear pattering. Two open work loop handles crown the basket.

Round coiled cedar root basket (a) and lid (b). Base and walls have parallel slat construction, while lid has root splint foundation. Both basket and lid are decorated with imbrication in cherry bark and beading in white grass. The lid has a knob on it, which is beaded with red cherry bark.

Bird Rattle1768/16

Rattle carved in the shape of a wooden bird. Two horizontal pieces are joined below the tail and wings. Four small holes on each side with narrow cord fastening top to bottom. Feathers are carved on the back. Narrow slit from top to bottom above head. Tail is the handle. There is bark wrapped around the end of the tail. The bird is painted black. The handle is unpainted.

Basketry Quiver1719/27

Tubular quiver that tapers slightly towards the bottom. Quiver has a long thick hide and cotton fibre strap that is secured near the top and bottom of the quiver with strips of hide. The upper portion of the quiver basket is decorated with alternating strips of light coloured grass and reddish-brown bark.

A basket woven in the shape of a heart. A piece of bark or root is tied around the middle, keeping the lid tightly closed. The lid is rimmed with red and has a design of a red outline of a heart with a light brown centre. The side of the basket has alternating horizontal rows of light brown, red, and black. There is an inscription written on the bottom.

Large, rectangular basketry tray with two handles at either sides which are connected to the rim row that has equally spaced loops along the top. The side of the tray has an alternating pattern of a red or black inverted geometric pattern in between a light brown upright geometric pattern. The bottom of the tray has alternating rows of red or black in between light brown.

Bark model canoe with wood frame. One thwart across opening. Canoe has longer base than opening, with pointed ends at the bow and stern, which angle up to the top rim. Part b is a model wooden paddle.
