The front of the mask is a large human face with red mouth and nose, black moustache and black outlined eyes on a white circular background surrounded by a green ovoid. The face is outlined in white. The bear has a long snout painted black with white edging. The nose and mouth are red. The mask splits down the centre and opens to expose another human/whale face. The inner face is detailed exactly like the outer face with the exception of killer whale motifs painted on the cheeks and forehead. The eyes have drilled holes. The opened boards are hinged with leather and nails; they are painted white with human hands and arms. The back of the bear has many twisted cedar strips that hang. The outer face is lined with small bundles of cedar. The mask is painted dark green, black, white and red with Northwest Coast stylized designs.

The jaw is hinged with a piece of leather nailed to the lower mouth; the sides have metal hinges. The face is dark red/brown with white edging and detailing; black outlined eyes on a green, ovoid-like shaped background; brow is black. There are two large, orange ears nailed to the top that appear to be added later. The mask opens in three directions – to the sides and down – exposing a painted human face with cutout nostrils. The three open boards are detailed with the figures hands, along with ovoids, U’s and split U’s. Twine cord that attaches to all three sides and run through the human’s nose to assist the mask in opening and shutting. The back has numerous cedar strips that would fall behind the head of the wearer. The mask is painted red, dark red/brown black, green, white and black with Northwest Coast stylized designs.

Handle has wooden base and woven covering, beaded in alternating rows of dark and red cherry bark. Metal pieces inserted to make sound.

The beak is painted black with a red mouth and cutout nostrils. Around the mouth are red U-forms. Along the ridge of the beak are red U-forms on a white background. The protruding eyes are white, outlined in black on a red background; brow is black. Above the brow are two ear-like structures with red painted U-forms. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of twine used to open and close the beak. The top has long strips of cedar that hang over the wearer. Intermixed in the fridge are black, raven ? feathers. The mask is painted black, red, and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.

The beak is painted black with a red mouth and cutout nostrils. Around the nose are white, red and black U-forms. The eyes are white, outlined in black on a white, ovoid shaped background; brow is black and white with black spots. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of piece of cedar twine used to open and close the beak. The top of the head has a slight triangular shape. Pieces of cedar used to be attached along the top ridge of the beak. The underside of the mouth is painted black with a white stripe running down the middle and a circular design left unpainted. The mask is painted black, red, and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.

The beak and nostrils are painted black with orange edging. There are five orange U-forms carved at the back of the beak running towards the nostril; in front of nostril is an orange, light orange and white U-form. Part of the nostril extends upward creating an ovoid shaped projection on top of the beak. The eyes are white, outlined in black on a white, ovoid shaped background with orange U-forms; brow is black. Attached to the top of the head are short strips of cedar bark creating a fringe. Tied to the sides with twine are small bundles of cedar; longer strips are attached to the bottom rim and hang down to cover the body of the wearer. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of an attached twine cord that assisted the beak in opening and shutting. The mask is painted black, orange and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.
