Rectangular indentation on the back of the plank at either end. Two rectangular carved sections at the top and bottom of the piece inset with cedar bark. Two indented notches at the top and the bottom of the piece on the back.

Berry Basket1719/40

Rectangular burden basket that tapers slightly towards the bottom. Basket has three skin loops and five skin ties. On the front, there are three imprecated diamond designs. On the ends, there are two imprecated diamond designs. On the back, there are three vertical imprecated vertical designs.

Berry Basket1719/38

Rectangular-shaped burden basket that tapers slightly towards the bottom. Basket has a thick white cotton fibre strap that is secured to the basket with skin cording. Cotton strap ties into a knot on one side of the basket. A reddish-black band of cedar bark stitching decorates the middle of the basket.

Doll Carrier1719/9

Small oblong-shaped doll carrier, or cradle, with plastic doll wrapped up in strips of cedar bark. Cradle has arched handle attached to one side. Skin strips attach to handle and opposite end of the cradle. Cradle is decorated with alternating sections of diagonally stitched white cedar root and cherry bark around its perimeter. The lower portion of the cradle has evenly spaced checkered sections of white cedar root and cherry bark.

Rectangular, twined basket with hinged lid. Hinges and ties on front side are of skin; handle goes across long dimension of the lid and is also skin. Decoration is on sides and top in cherry bark and is mostly in lines of either dark brown, brown, or cream; one central geometric design in dark brown is on each side.

Basket1719/41

Light brown rectangular woven basket with a flat, fitted lid; lid is hinged at the back with two leather ties and has a single leather strip at the front that wraps around a white plastic button affixed near the top of the basket's front side. Two longer strips of leather are tied near the top of the front and back sides of the basket, creating handles that bridge the basket's lid. Patterned designs in red-brown, black and yellow-white are featured on the lid and all four sides.

Headdress1398/1

Wooden thunderbird headdress with an orange beak, red mouth and nostrils, and black, white and red ears and face. Top edge of headdress is ringed with braided brown and dyed, red cedar bark. Top of headdress between the two ears are tightly packed vertical strands of brown and red cedar bark and brown and white feathers.
