Knotted net bag of nettle fibre--decreases in diameter toward the bottom. Top edge attached to twisted cedar rope. This rope is attached on two sides to a wooden loop made by bending a twig and lashing the ends together. (These were probably attached to sticks as a means of suspending the net.)

Carved mask, mostly unpainted. Male face carved with grimacing expression; some teeth missing; some painted red or black. Incised lines across forehead and double lines for nose; several lines at both sides of chin; carved out cheeks and eye areas. Loop of cedar bark through hole at top. Fibre rope necklace with four decorated bundles. A wooden rectangular end wrapped in cedar bark and black and red fibre then tied with twine with a swan head mounted on top that would dangle, beak down. The left side has a small cedar strip bundle covered in ermine fur. The back section is two ermine skins wrapped together. The right side is a bird wing plus part of the body intertwined with another animal.

Basketry TrayA8163

Brown basketry tray consisting of interlocking coiled work (unsplit stitches) with parallel slat base and wall construction. Two slat rows form the sides. Decorated with partial beading. One section of decoration remains. It consists of an upper row of black triangles (vertex up) and a lower row of red triangles (vertex down) with five rows of stepped grass.
