Oval birch-bark basket or container with sides tapering to a square base. One piece of bark is folded and stitched at two ends with spruce root. The reinforced wood rim is lashed to body of basket with spruce root. Rim is decorated with red dyed spruce root wrapped six to eight times at centre of each side and green dyed spruce root at each of the four approximate corners. In between the dyed areas dark brown dyed spruce root which is interwoven with lashing creating a checkered effect. The walls of the basket are decorated by a horizontal scraped design, the design consists of six bands. Each band has a centre line bordered by two notched lines with the notches pointing away from each other. There are two pencil marks on the upper interior side wall.
Oblong, brown birch bark basket with an oval-shaped top and a rectangular bottom. Bark is bent and laced into place, with a twig splint around the rim overcast with thin strips of root; decorative bands of dark crabapple bark (?) beading are featured along the rim in several spots. Geometric and linear patterns are scratched onto the exterior sides, revealing a lighter shade of bark.
Birch bark basket with an oval-shaped mouth and a rectangular base. One piece of birch bark folded up with spruce root stitching visible inside and out at four corners. Same design scraped on outside of basket on three sides--three central lines with four upward diagonal lines, three triangles on two middle lines. On fourth side design has a central floral motif with diagonal lines on either side and with attached triangles on two diagonals. Design on base is rectangular, lines with attached triangles in two panels. Stitched and lashed spruce root rim with some lashing dyed red-brown in centre of each of four sides. Rim decorated with beading on each corner.
Rectangular bottomed container with gently expanding walls to an oval rim. The wooden rim is lashed on with spruce root. Four pieces of green-blue cellulose cloth are also woven into the rim. Purple and pink pieces are beaded into the lashing. To make the walls of the container the bark has been folded and stitched along two sides with spruce root. The walls have horizontal scraped decorative patterns with triangles on four of the lines and two lines separating each band--the triangles have faded. On the bottom of the container are two bands of four lines diagonally crossed.
Single piece of light brown bark, brown white with cross-grain flecks on the interior. Rectangular base with v-cut sides sewn with thin strips of bark. Oval-shaped mouth is reinforced with two thin sticks sewn in place. The outside has a black pencil line on one side near the top and there is a number in pencil on the base.
Grey-green/brown wood wolf's head and four long petal-shaped pieces glued by pitch to the neck, then tied with strips of red-brown birch bark. The wolf is carved with tapering oval eyes, grooved pointed ears, a rounded nose, and a tongue that hangs out.
Rectangular box with arched end walls, and niche on one side for metal lock. Hinge wire at two places on opposite side. Birch bark, with chevron designs of porcupine quills in yellow-white, brown, and yellow-orange, wrapped around sides. Arched lid of birch bark fits over rim of box. Ends and side of lid are lashed to top with split root. Wire at two points on one side, in centre of other. Chevron designs in quills interwoven in alternating rhomboids and pairs of stripes. Quill design in top; wide longitudinal band of symmetrically arranged triangles and rectangles, dominated by central equilateral diamond enclosing four petalled curvilinear pinwheel. Band flanked by narrower bands of four half-circles each. Designs enhanced with interwoven or overlaid quills. Lid split across top, and across one end. Scoring of bark for design planning seen where quills are missing on box and lid.
Basket made of birch bark that has been bent and sewn together with birch root. Birch twig around rim is overcast with birch root. Geometric design around sides is scratched on. On one side is lines with triangles (vertex down). On the other side are vertical lines of diamonds. The darker side of the bark is to the outside. (Raley label #165 on base.)

Bark is bent and laced into place, with birch twine around the rim overcast with thin strips of root--a small strip of bark runs underneath the rim as reinforcement. Large blue and red beads are affixed around the rim. A handle is made from a thin strip of rawhide strung from one side of the rim to the other.

There are also heavier pieces of bark on the ends and sides for reinforcement. Light side of bark is to the outside and darker flaps are laced on the ends and sides. The rim is overcast splints beaded with black bark. Part of the overcasting stitch leaves the splints exposed.
